Flint stone axe made, belonging to the oldest stages of Syrian prehistory, known as Paleolithic. This flit axe is typical for the so called- middle Acheulean culture. It was made by an archaic type of humans known as upright man (Homo Erectus) Period: Middle Acheulean / Lower Paleolithic
