Continuation of the Traveling Syrian Archaeological Exhibition in China

Photos shared by the Chinese side show the public’s keen interest in the Traveling Syrian Archaeological Exhibition at the Nanshan Museum in Shenzhen, where the exhibition was previously inaugurated. It is scheduled to remain open for six months before being hosted by other museums across China.

The exhibition will continue for two years due to its significance, featuring Syrian archaeological pieces contributed by the Directorate-General of Antiquities and Museums from various museums across the country. The displayed artifacts cover all stages of ancient Syrian history, reflecting the depth of Syrian civilization and the diversity of its discoveries.

It is worth noting that the exhibition is held in implementation of an agreement that highlights the importance of cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries. Moreover, it plays a vital role in introducing the public to the efforts made by the Ministry of Culture – Directorate-General of Antiquities and Museums – to preserve Syrian cultural heritage and promote it at local and international platforms.
