The event included introductory tours of the museum’s halls to learn about its most important archaeological collections and exhibits, as well as an interactive workshop that addressed the importance of preserving the heritage and cultural identity of Damascus. Activities also included recreational and awareness programs and the distribution of educational and guidance materials aimed at developing cognitive and cultural awareness among participating children.

This activity comes within the context of the Directorate’s commitment to promoting the integration of orphaned children into cultural life and affirming the role of museums as educational and community centers that contribute to building awareness and preserving Syria’s cultural heritage.
